Purpose and Reason:

Effective January 1, 2006 the rules are amended to include the Working Adults With Disabilities Program which provides working disabled adults who meet the Medical Assistance requirements for disability, are at least 18 years of age, have countable net income no greather than 250% of the Federal Poverty Level, and have assets no greater than $10,000 for individuals and $20,000 for couples with the full scope of categorical medical assistance benefits. Participants are required to pay a premium to remain active on the program.
